In general control thongs are fairly MILD in slimming control. Esbelt have thrown out the rule book on this one though. This is an EXTRA FIRM control thong that REALLY packs a huge whack of a slimming punch!

The packaging is none too impressive - sorry Esbelt, I know I'm always complaining about your packaging, but it isn't half as pretty as Spanx!

The Esbelt Shaper Thong is made out of a LATEX/RUBBER fabric. This is REALLY strong stuff. It is SEAMLESS down the front and so is pretty good at not showing through clothing.

It is a HIGH WAISTED style and has quite high cut legs.

The waistband comes to somewhere in between your waistline and bra, depending on how tall you are. It isn't VERY high, but high enough to slim your waistline.

The inside of the thong is lined with cotton, so it is really comfortable to wear against your skin.

The thong is made from a sort of satin fabric. It is really soft and stretchy and 3cms wide.

The legs are edged with an elastic binding. This is very stretchy though so they shouldn't dig in (unless the thong is too tight).

At the back of the legs is a satin piece of stretchy fabric. This helps to give a really nice fit on your buttocks.

There are 2 side seams which are pretty flat sewn. The front and back panels are completely seamless though.

The MEDIUM sized thong should fit UK dress sizes 10-12 and waist measurements 26-28".

The thong measures 33cm from the top center of the waistband to the bottom of the gusset.
The sides measure 18cms
The waistband (from side to side, not all the way round) measures 29cms
The thong back is 3cms wide
