Spanx Oncore Open Bust Panty Bodysuit - My Review

Spanx have finally caved into pressure and demand and have produced a knicker leg, open bust, opening gusset bodysuit! This style was completely missing from their range, so we are very happy about this.

The bodysuit is sort of a traditional swimming costume in style. It has full bottom coverage with knicker legs and shoulder straps. However, the front comes down much lower than normal and scoops underneath your bust - it does not cover it! This means you can wear it with your own bra.

The bodysuit is made from a very strong, but lightweight fabric that is SEAMLESS. However, it does have ZONING. This helps to create much more shape as well a slimming you lots. These ZONES look obvious when the bodysuit is not on your body. However, once you put it on they disappear and won't show through your clothes.

The extra firm control, super bonded tummy control panel and zoning all help to REALLY pull you in at the waist and flatten your tummy.

The back of the bodysuit comes up nice and high. It completely covers your bra lines and back boobs and really help to smooth the hold back area. This helps to create a perfectly smooth, slimmer silhouette even under really tight tops.

The bottom section is genius! It not only completely covers and slims your bum, it also gives it LOADS more shape and lift. It sort of acts like a bra, lifting up any saggy bits, making it look a lot more perky!

The straps are 1cm wide and are super soft and stretchy. They should lie over your bra straps and not create any bulges on your shoulders. They are adjustable too, so you should get a really good fit.

The front of the bodysuit comes up to just under your bust. This allows your bust to sit above the bodysuit and for you to wear your own (hopefully well fitting) bra. This is especially good if you have a quite big or quite small bust in comparison to your body size. It means you don't have to take into account your bust size and you can buy the bodysuit in the size of the rest of your body.

The front and back edges are laser cut. This helps everything to lie nice and flat against your skin.

The gusset is an opening one which secures with 2 hooks and eyes. This is brilliant as it means you don't need to pull everything down to use the loo. It is also lined, meaning it is hygienic to wear in place of your normal knickers.

The large size should fit a UK size 16 - 18.
