Spanx have taken their original best selling Power Panties (the ones that Oprah Winfrey and Gwyneth Paltrow raved about) and made them EVEN BETTER! The old version had a horrid center seam which really ruined the look. It also didn't do a huge amount for your bottom. The seam has gone and Spanx have done some very clever things with the bum area!
Spanx Power Panties Shaper Shorts now come in a lovely RED box.
Once you get them out of the box, they do look quite small! However, don't worry, they do stretch and grow, and, providing you have followed the size chart, they WILL fit.
They are made from a SEAMLESS, really soft fabric. This will ladder if you catch your nails or jewellery in it, so do take care. They are FIRM in slimming control and work wonders on your tummy.
The waistband sits around your belly button area and the legs are a nice mid thigh length.
The waistband is very soft with no binding or stitching. This helps it to lie flat on your stomach - no digging in.
The gusset is a closed one, so you do need to pull them down to use the loo. It is lined and so is comfortable and hygenic to wear for long periods of time.
The legs are mid thigh in length. The fabric folds over at the ends with no elastic, binding or stitching. This helps them to stay flat on your thighs and prevent lines or bulges.
There are inner thigh seams. However, these should remain out of sight and not interfere with the seamless look of the rest of the shaper.
Spanx have really improved the bottom area on these. They have added ruching which helps to give your bottom super shape and lift!
The MEDIUM size should fit around a UK 12-14, depending on your height and weight.
The shorts measure 38cm from the top of the waistband to the ends of the legs.
Center waistband to top of gusset measures 17cm.
The inner thigh measurement in 15cm.
